This National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, we’re asking you to spare just 5 minutes and $5 to help change the lives of those struggling with homelessness in Seminole County. More veterans, families and seniors are facing homelessness today than ever before in our community. When you give just $5, you can provide a hot meal, warm clothing, job training resources, and so much more. Your small act of kindness joins with others to create real impact.

Throughout the week of November 11-18, we’ll be sharing stories from the people we serve and updates on our campaign. Our goal is to increase engagement and donations to better meet the growing needs in our community.

Resources

Rescue Outreach Mission is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit serving the disadvantaged and homeless in Central Florida since 1986. Our mission is to provide resources that prevent homelessness and help those experiencing it become self-sufficient. We aim to bridge the gap between homelessness and housing for individuals and families. Founded by Mother Blanche Bell Weaver, Rescue Outreach Mission started as a small effort by a church to help the desperate living without basics. Today, we carry on that legacy by providing safety, support and a healing environment.
