Helping your community through your congregation and mission does not have to be difficult. In fact, it can be spiritual. It can be fun. It can also help connect the church through a shared cause.

Here are a dozen ways you can help Seminole County.

  1. Pray for Rescue Outreach Mission and its guests.
  2. Invite Chris Ham, our president, to speak to your congregation or let him lead while you are away. Chris is an ordained Presbyterian minister with almost two decades of service.
  3. Place our material in your narthex and feature it in your newsletter to encourage members to support Rescue Outreach Mission as one of the ministries of the church.
  4. Invite Chris to speak at a gathering of fellow clergy or any local ministry groups of which you are a member.
  5. Serve a meal or Volunteer for a work day to improve our campus or maybe join with other churches.
  6. Encourage individual ministries within your church to adopt ROM as one of their projects. Vacation Bible School is coming up fast.
  7. Conduct a supply drive for essential items needed by our guests.
  8. Send a letter to fellow pastors inviting them to join with you in support of us.
  9. Take a tour of Rescue Outreach Mission to see firsthand the impact you can make.
  10. Hold a special offering. It takes $35 a day to house and feed a man, woman or child at Rescue Outreach Mission.
  11. Have fun and join us at our Gratitude in Action Luncheon in the Fall.
  12. Become a personal monthly donor to lead by example.
